Vacation Bible School is back.
VBS offers an opportunity for spiritual growth,
learning, and fellowship within our church. As we prepare for this special week,
we are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve in various areas, including teaching
youth classes, arts and crafts, kitchen support, and cleanup.
Vacation Bible School will take place from June 22nd through June 26th. For those
interested or have signed up, there will be a brief meeting today following morning
worship.

St. Mary’s Food Bank Volunteer Day!

To our youth: Are you ready to put your faith into action and make a real difference in
our community? We are heading to St. Mary’s Food Bank for a day of service,
fellowship, and giving back!
St. Mary’s feeds thousands of families across Arizona, and they need our help to pack,
sort, and prepare food boxes for people who need them most. This isn't just about
logging volunteer hours—it’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus right here in our
own community.
This is for all youth in grades 6-12 and their friends. The date is June 6 th from 12pm to
2pm. Spots are limited, so don’t wait. Grab a friend and sign up. You will find the form
on our website under Youth Community Service.
Come ready to work hard, laugh a lot, and show our community the love of Christ!
On Sunday, June 14th at 10:00 AM, we will be celebrating our Annual Youth Day!
Our theme is "Peace Over Anger," and the focus scripture comes from Ephesians
4:31-32. It is a powerful message that our young people—and truly all of us—need
to hear in today's world.
Our guest speaker for the morning: Reverend Ernest Polk, Associate Minister at
Gideon Missionary Baptist Church in Surprise. He is ready to bring a powerful
word to encourage our youth and ignite our congregation.
We want to fill the sanctuary to support our young people. Please invite your
family, your neighbors, and every young person you know to join us on June 14th
at 10:00 AM. We are asking the congregation for a donation of $50 for Youth Day.
Let’s come together to lift up the next generation!

In addition, the youth ministry will be selling T-shirts for $25. If you would like to
purchase one or more, please go on our website to place your order. If you are not
comfortable with th technology, please see any youth leader and they will be happy
to take your order. T-shirts can be worn on 3 Sundays starting in July.
