Reverend Isaac Pitre, Sr.
He is married to Dr. Ronnie S. Pitre and have been blessed to be the father of three children, Yolanda C., Pastor Isaac Pitre Jr. and Pastor Iran D. Pitre and three grandchildren.
Rev. Isaac Pitre was born in Jennings, Louisiana to Albert and Leana Pitre on May 21, 1947 as the third child of seven children. The family relocated to the Lone Star State of Texas while he was a six-year-old child and remained there until he graduated in 1965 from the J.H. Henderson High School of China, Texas.. Following his graduation, Rev. Pitre enrolled at the (HBC) Bishop College in Dallas, Texas to study for a Liberal Arts Degree in English and participate in the “Ambassador’s” marching band. Those were the years that shaped the beginning of the roads that remained to be traveled.
In 1970, he enlisted into the United States Air Force and served for twenty wonderful and rewarding years. He retired with an honorable and distinguished service record to the United States of America.
Prior to relocating to the State of Arizona, Rev. Pitre lived in Austin Texas where he was called to ministry in 1990. He served as associate pastor of the Mount Zion Baptist Church under the Pastoral Leadership of Rev. Dr. G.V. Clark until 1995. He was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel while serving at Mount Zion.
After uniting with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in 1997 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. L.L. Smith, Rev. Pitre was called to the Pastoral Ministry. He has currently served since June 1998 as Pastor and Teacher of the Historic Baptist Church which was founded in 1919 by the Rev. C.A. Gilmore in Phoenix, Az. During his tenure, numerous ministries have been initiated and many lives have changed and committed to Jesus Christ. He has led with love and compassion for the people of God. Pastor Pitre loves Jesus Christ and His Church. He strives to give his best to kingdom building.
To further his education in religion, Rev. Pitre attended the WHW Expository Preaching and Teaching Conference in Los Angles, Ca. for five years which was accredited by the Faith Evangelical Seminary of Tacoma, Washington. From 2005 until 2009, Rev. Pitre studied at Wayland Baptist University of Plainview, Texas (Phoenix Campus) for a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry. Pastor Pitre is a member of the National Missionary Baptist Convention of America and regularly attends the ministers and pastors Conferences.
